Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of natural pigments and discover the art of earth colors! The artist Martine Federmeyer-Gwynne invites children and adults to participate in her creative workshops. Since 2022, the artist has been working to make his creative practice more environmentally friendly. A remarkable example is the use of raw pigments, derived from local plants and minerals. These natural pigments, such as rocks rich in iron oxide collected directly on site, are transformed into ocher pigments then prepared with a binder to become paint. During the workshop, you will discover and practice this technique for yourself. Martine shares her passion for art and its eco-friendly techniques, showing how the use of these natural materials can capture and represent the essence of a place or thing.
