Aotearoa New Zealand hi-tek soul machine Fat Freddys Drop are returning to Europe in 2024 for a new studio album release tour! Hailing from the windswept south coast of Te Whanganui-a-Tara, Fat Freddys Drop are internationally regarded as one of the world's finest live acts.
As a seven-piece band, The Freddys’ sound is a unification of their collective ideas drawn from a wide range of musical backgrounds and influences; creating a sonic flavour that transcends time and fuses traditionally opposing genres. Blending DJ Fitchie’s love of reggae and house with Joe Dukie’s soulful tones, and combined with an exuberant horn section, Freddy’s live shows are renowned for their bold, electric energy.
Following a successful European tour in 2023, the band continue their momentum as they prepare for their return to the Northern Hemisphere in 2024 with their first studio release since Special Edition Part 1.
