It's no longer a secret that the best poetry slam in the whole of Benelux takes place in Niederanven. This time it will be hosted by Andy Strauß, who lives in Hamburg but is secretly a Luxembourger at heart and lungs. He has put together a line-up for the slam that would effortlessly be able to put Goethe back on the map - or at least drink him under the table.
Andy Strauß has been performing on poetry slam stages since the end of 2006. After his book EstablishMensch from 2009, his second book Albträumer was published in November 2010. He won twice at the WDR Poetry Slam and at the Slammerfile.
With a subtle touch and yet with the force of a sledgehammer, he tortures the audience's funny bones.
