Musical
They come from "the very top" and this origin from the sublime peaks of South Tyrol gives their sensitive and highly virtuoso playing a certain Alpine flair - the delicately spiced ingredient of a demanding program rich in surprises - a declaration of love to brass music, an inimitable blend of "Tyrolean serenity and Italian temperament"... Radiant, clear, refreshing like a mountain torrent in midsummer - and as catchy as that same torrent at the melting of the snow...
In a spirit of wit, curiosity, impertinence, and virtuosity, the most diverse musical styles and genres follow one another, are sometimes mixed together, and produce unusual sounds. But the program does not "only" feature brass music, but also sung interludes, instrument changes (accordion, drums, guitar, etc.), and short dance interludes. Bozen Brass is a brass ensemble, but one that no longer fits into any of the usual boxes. Curiously different, the six South Tyroleans are always ready to surprise.
