The three-time Grammy Award-winning Soweto Gospel Choir returns to Ettelbruck, bringing with them a glimmer of hope. Hope is the name of their new program, which pays tribute to the freedom movement in South Africa and the civil rights movement in the United States.

Designed to bring joy to all, it opens with South African freedom songs that inspired the "rainbow nation". The choir will then take us to the United States with magnificent interpretations evoking the struggles for civil rights, such as certain titles of the legendary Billie Holiday, James Brown, Otis Redding, Curtis Mayfield or the incomparable Aretha Franklin.

The Soweto Gospel Choir is truly a very impressive ensemble, thrilling audiences around the world with their striking rhythms, rich vocal harmonies and beautiful costumes, providing a unique and emotional musical experience.
