Discover the best of design, gastronomy, fashion and accessories from the Grand Duchy and the Greater Region, gathered in a single place? This is the promise of the Super Maart, which returns this year for its 4th edition at the Rotondes! Following the resounding success of previous editions, the Super Maart pop-up has become the event not to be missed for those who want to unearth new gems! Whether DIY, semi-pro or more in a "start-up" spirit, the products and services of artists and creatives are displayed in two rooms, with two different atmospheres.

In the Gallery, you will discover, this year again, the favorites selected by our team, while the Platform opens, for this 4th edition, to the social sector and welcomes two initiatives from the prison world, Défi-Job and the workshops of the Luxembourg Penitentiary Center, for a pop-up shop dedicated to the work carried out by prisoners in Luxembourg.

Because prison workshops are not only places to make the deprivation of liberty useful, but also work towards the socio-economic reintegration of prisoners through training. The main aim of putting prisoners to work is to provide them with regular work and thus contribute to the process of social reintegration.

Organizers and participants:

Défi-Job asbl promotes the socio-professional reintegration of people placed in the Givenich penitentiary center in the hope that regular employment can reduce the risk of reoffending.
Jailbird is a brand offering products designed by local designers (Olaf Recht, Linda Bos and Runa Egilsdottir) and manufactured by people detained at the Givenich penitentiary center who are employees of the non-profit organization Défi-job.
The Luxembourg Penitentiary Centre is a closed prison located near Schrassig. Inmates participate in workshops and community work organized by the penitentiary centre as part of their detention.
