On June 14, 1997, about 20,000 people embarked on a journey from Sardinia to Naples to attend a football match where only one outcome was possible: victory. Cagliari Calcio, the island's football team, needed to win this playoff to stay in the Italian major league. Deu Ci Seu tells the story of this unique and unrepeatable journey. This exodus is the most impressive in Sardinia's history: an entire community is mobilized to follow and support, among a thousand obstacles, one of the symbols of their own identity. Among numerous travel inconveniences, public order issues, moments of both celebration and suffering, the values, identity, and also the isolation of an entire population emerge from this choral tale.
