The shared dream of three women in the heart of a city in the grip of revolt.

Three women who don't know each other.
But they have one thing in common: the feeling of living with a sword of Damocles hanging over their heads.

Faced with a life that no longer suits them and helpless in the face of the current world, they take refuge in their sleep, find themselves in a shared dream and organize the assassination of the famous tyrant of Syracuse. The dream here seems the only way to rebuild themselves, the only solution to glimpse ways out in the opacity of the present, the only way to reappropriate something of themselves, something of the world around them.

Rewarded by numerous awards, and thanks to his poetic pen, Samuel Gallet has established himself as one of the most unique and stimulating voices on the contemporary theatre scene. With La Ville ouverte, he invites the audience to dive into a universe as fascinating as it is overwhelming and to experience the real and imaginary escape of these three women, who will tell the story of the end of one world and the possible reconstruction of another.
