A hymn full of humor and emotion to Elvis… and to friendship!

There are four of them, four guys in blue sneakers, instead of Blue Suede Shoes. Four Elvis fans who, each August 16th, the day of their idol's death, meet to celebrate him. For one night, Jean-Damien, Joël, Pascal, and Mathurin pretend to be the King, because life might be way better in a sequined suit. Yet this August 16th will be different… With this project, Héloïse Ravet wanted to poetically discuss the difficulty of being oneself. To feel they exist, her fragile-souled antiheroes try on another skin, another voice, to see if it helps. And it's ultimately this shared fiction that will give them courage and hope… A tender tale about friendship, shared passions, and the warmth of communities we build to endure existence.
