Over the years, Jordan has become a popular destination for filmmakers from around the world, attracted by the diversity of its natural settings and the rich cultural heritage that the country is home to. Its desert landscapes as far as the eye can see have notably enabled the filming of the Dune saga, a diptych by Denis Villeneuve based on the eponymous novel by Frank Herbert. Spotlight on Jordan with a special day dedicated to the making of these blockbusters, which will allow the public to go behind the scenes of the filming of the two films and to see or re-see these masterful works on the big screen. Organized in partnership with the Royal Film Commission Jordan, this event will also be punctuated by meetings and discussions that will allow us to discover how the filming of a monumental film like Dune is organized in Jordan, without forgetting the many anecdotes and little secrets that result from it. "He who controls the spice controls the universe..."
