Thematic Visit: The two Panoramas of the Lëtzebuerg City Museum
Come and discover the two panoramas of the City of Luxembourg and admire the work of painter and scenographer Antoine Fontaine. One depicts the Marché-aux-Herbes, the true heart of the city in the 17th century. The other is located on the first floor of the museum's recently inaugurated annex. The large windows of this once blind panoramic lounge now offer a magnificent urban view of the Grund and the Rham at the dawn of the dismantling of the Luxembourg fortress in 1867.
