Theater course for boys and girls aged 10 to 13
organized by Società Dante Alighieri and the Italian Bookshop of Luxembourg.

Description of the course by Jana Montorio:
This activity offers a fun and engaging theatrical experience, incorporating techniques such as dramatic games, concentration exercises, improvisation, and the use of masks and puppets. The goal is to embark on a creative journey with friends, culminating in the performance of a short play in June.
A standard lesson typically includes:
– Physical and vocal warm-up exercises
– Activities to develop concentration
– Group games to encourage teamwork
– Creative exercises and improvisation practice
– Skits
Benefits for students:
Through this experience, participants will have the opportunity to use the Italian language creatively, enhancing their imagination, concentration, memory, and self-esteem. They will also develop a sense of loyalty and respect for others in a collaborative environment.
Prerequisites:
Participants must wear comfortable clothing to allow ease of movement during sessions.
Good to know
Schedule: Sundays from 4:45 PM to 6:15 PM
Duration: 15 sessions of 1.5 hours each, totaling 22.5 hours
The lessons will take place at the headquarters of the Società Dante Alighieri, rue St. Ulric 25 in Luxembourg (Grund).
The last two course dates are consecutive days: the dress rehearsal (Saturday, June 14) and the performance, which will take place on Sunday, June 15, 2025.
The venue for the performance will be announced later.
