Theatre course for girls and boys aged 6 to 9
organized by the Società Dante Alighieri and the Italian Bookstore in Luxembourg.
Course description by Jana Montorio:
This activity offers a fun and engaging theatrical experience, incorporating a variety of techniques like drama games, concentration exercises, improvisation, and the use of masks and puppets. The goal is to embark on a creative journey with friends, culminating in the performance of a short play in June.
A typical lesson includes:
- Physical and vocal warm-up exercises
- Activities to develop concentration
- Group games to encourage teamwork
- Creative exercises and improvisation practice
- Short sketches
Benefits for students:
Through this experience, participants will have the opportunity to use the Italian language creatively, enhancing their imagination, concentration, memory, and self-esteem. They will also develop a sense of loyalty and respect for others in a collaborative environment.

Schedule: Sunday 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM
Duration: 15 sessions of 1.5 hours each, total of 22.5 hours.
Lesson dates: see website and posters.
Last two dates: dress rehearsal (Saturday 14th June) and performance (Sunday 15th June 2025). Venue to be confirmed.
Lessons will be held at the Società Dante Alighieri, rue St. Ulric 25, Luxembourg (Grund).
Prerequisites: comfortable clothing.
