On stage! Theatre course for girls and boys from 10 to 13 years old, organized by the Società Dante Alighieri and the Italian Bookshop, Luxembourg.
Teacher: Jana Montorio
This activity offers a fun and engaging theatrical experience, incorporating various techniques such as dramatic games, concentration exercises, improvisation, and the use of masks and puppets. The aim is to embark on a creative journey with friends, culminating in the performance of a short play in June.
A typical lesson includes:
— Physical and vocal warm-up exercises
— Activities to develop concentration
— Group games to foster teamwork
— Creative exercises and practice of improvisation
— Skits
Through this experience, participants will have the opportunity to use the Italian language creatively, enhancing their imagination, concentration, memory, and self-esteem. Additionally, they will develop a sense of loyalty and respect for others in a collaborative environment.

Schedule: Sunday from 16:45 to 18:15
Duration: 15 sessions of 1.5 hours each, totaling 22.5 hours
Course venue: Società Dante Alighieri, rue St. Ulric 25, Luxembourg (Grund).
The last two dates are consecutive for the dress rehearsal (Saturday, June 14) and the performance on Sunday, June 15, 2025.
The date and venue of the performance will be communicated later.
Participants should wear comfortable clothing to facilitate movement.
