Theater course for children aged 6 to 9 years organized by the Società Dante Alighieri and the Italian Bookstore of Luxembourg. This activity offers a fun and engaging theatrical experience, incorporating techniques like drama games, concentration exercises, improvisation, and the use of masks and puppets. The goal is to embark on a creative journey that will culminate in the performance of a short theatrical play in June.
A standard lesson typically includes:
- Physical and vocal warm-up exercises
- Activities to develop concentration
- Group games to enhance teamwork
- Creative exercises and improvisation practice
- Short scenes
Benefits for students include the creative use of the Italian language, improving their imagination, concentration, memory, and self-esteem. They will also develop a sense of loyalty and respect for others in a collaborative environment.
Prerequisites: participants should wear comfortable clothing to allow ease of movement.

Instructor: Jana Montorio
Schedule: Sundays from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM
Duration: 15 sessions of 1.5 hours each totaling 22.5 hours
Course venue: Società Dante Alighieri, rue St. Ulric 25, Luxembourg (grund).
The last two course dates are consecutive for the general rehearsal (Saturday, June 14) and the performance on Sunday, June 15, 2025. The performance venue will be communicated later.
