Lecture | Grondsteen: What Stone for Our Building Culture?
As part of the closing of the "Bauhärepräis OAI 2024" exhibition, YAA in collaboration with LUCA will organize a panel discussion to talk about strategies and tools that allow young and small architectural firms to have easier and fairer access to public contracts. Due to the overly complex procedures for awarding public contracts in Luxembourg, the contracts are often awarded to large, established firms, despite the potential creativity and new skills of young firms that remain unused due to lack of trust. There are questions as to whether these firms will have the opportunity in the future to lay the foundation stone for a public construction project and thus contribute to the architecture of the country.
