Child's play / Story(ies) - Theater
Nathalie Ronvaux begins her residency at the TNL with two short texts from 2014 and 2016. These texts reveal the almost analytical writing style of the author, delving deep into the psychology of her characters. In "Child's Play", a couple decides to hold a family vote to solve a problem, but one member submits a blank vote. "Story(ies)" features three characters who share troubling accounts of a sexual assault accusation, with past haunts tragically affecting their fates. The staging is by the young Luxembourgish director Liss Scholtes, winner of the 2024 Arts and Letters Prize of the Institut Grand-Ducal.
