"The Florida Project" is a 2017 American film directed by Sean Baker. Moonee, a 6-year-old girl freely roaming in a motel outside Disney World, has quite a character. Her escapades don't seem to worry her very young mother too much. In a precarious situation, she is too focused on more or less honest plans to ensure their everyday life. The director takes a compassionate and humane look at endearing characters who never give up, in this social chronicle that is both cruel and dreamlike, filmed at children's level with real motel residents for absolute realism.
