Last-minute cancellation and opportunity to have Rémy Labbé replace Shauli Einav! Rémy Labbé is a Belgian-Luxembourgish jazz trumpeter, arranger, and educator. Graduated from Berklee College of Music (BM '15) and Manhattan School of Music (MM '18), Rémy is arranger for the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra led by Grammy Award-winner Arturo O'Farrill, as well as for the WE Big Band (Hasselt, Be), Greg Ruvolo Collective (NYC), Big Up Band (Geneva, Ch), and the Geneva Chamber Orchestra - OCG (Geneva, Ch). Since September 2021, he has been teaching jazz theory and jazz brass at the jazz department of Luxembourg. Currently, his main projects are the Rémy Labbé Quintet, Rémy Jean Labbé - his personal songwriting and pop music project, and Eddy Pero and the Big Band de Rémy Labbé (Paris, Fr). Composition: Rémy Labbé (Trumpet) Jean Yves Jung (organ) Sebastian 'Schlapbe' Flach (bass) Pit Dahm (drums).
