Maya Likembe is the name of the group formed by Luxembourgish singer, songwriter, and composer Mary-Ann Meiers. Rooted in the tradition of jazz, her music and voice are also influenced by Latin, African, and soul sounds. The project has developed thanks to collaboration with musicians from various cultural backgrounds. Their first song was the single Ardent Traveler, recorded in Luxembourg and the United States. They also shared three live tracks and an interview recorded during a Rocklabsession at the Rockhal concert hall in Belval. The latest news is the release of their EP "Spirituality is the beginning", recorded at Tritone Studios, accompanied by a concert within the jazz concert series Pause at the abbey Neimënster.
