Join us for the Contact Improvisation Dance Workshop: "DANCING UNDER THE SKIN", given by Pawel Michal Konior. Discover the art of movement, connection, and creativity in this immersive Contact Improvisation workshop. We will explore the practice of contact improvisation by increasing the deep feeling of our skin, allowing us to dance "under the skin." We will sharpen our senses of proprioception and kinesthetic awareness, enabling us to move with greater precision and sensitivity.
This deep connection with the body will enable us to listen better to ourselves and others. We will work on the principles of tensegrity model and fascia to create a stable and mobile body for both the underdancer and the overdancer.
No prior dance experience is required – just an open mind and willingness to move! This workshop is suitable for beginners as well as intermediate and advanced dancers who can deepen their understanding of dance and improvisation.
