If we knew her as the overwhelmed and goofy mom, Laurie Peret leaves the character to present herself as a woman, alone, in her forties. From her inability to manage a house alone, her bi-weekly struggle with addictions, her love for dangerous men, to the complex story of her birth, she describes her daily life as "a series of entertaining catastrophes for which she is solely responsible." But even though she is "her own worst danger," she is doing well. She is doing well because she has finally met someone: herself. It's a second show, more stand-up than the first but still as musical. For her, the appointment is made, SEE YOU SOON SOMEWHERE!
