The 14th edition of LISE - Luxembourg International Science Expo - will be open to the public on Wednesday 6 and Thursday 7 November 2024, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Forum Campus Geesseknäppchen.
This event once again promises an exciting convergence between science and youth. More than 50 stands will welcome around 100 young scientists from over 20 different countries, including winners of the Jonk Fuerscher 2024 competition. They will present their innovative research projects in fields as diverse as astronomy, engineering, environmental protection and political science.
In addition to meeting these young talents and exploring their remarkable projects, visitors will have the opportunity to discover:
- a window exhibition on Hugo Gernsback, American-Luxembourg inventor, entrepreneur and visionary author;
- an exhibition of photographs by astrophotographer Martin Lefranc;
- an installation of interactive mathematical puzzles by Hugo Parlier and Bruno Teheux from the University of Luxembourg;
- interactive robotic and digital installations from the Luxembourg TechSchool (LTS);
- a series of participatory workshops: pneumatics by the Association of Engineers and Scientists (Wëssens Atelier), chess mathematics (Arshia Atashpendar), the Gender Game (LISER & LIST), the discussion on climate (Climate youth delegates), the Guess the scientist Game (Wide Andco & LIST), the DIY buzz wire challenge (Base 1).
Entrance is free and parking spaces are available in the basement of the Forum Campus Geesseknäppchen.
