Double Face, the second exhibition of the 2024-2025 season at Espace Beau Site, brings together an unprecedented collection of forty artists from the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles. The common approach is to present two artworks side by side, never exceeding the square format of 15x15cm. They interact, they dialogue, maintaining multiple connections depending on the choice of technique or subject. Consequently, the proposed set of eighty compositions is intended to be particularly eclectic. In graphic arts, the small format favors engraving: etching, lino, wood or tetra pak engraving, mezzotint, fabric printing. The drawing practice varies depending on the tool and support, accompanied by watercolor, paraffin, or textile interventions. In painting, whether oil or acrylic, inspiration is most often figurative. The same goes for collages dedicated to portraits. Plaster is among the most unexpected materials. It's an opportunity for a rendezvous at the heart of creativity!
