As part of the cycle of literary conferences organized by the municipal libraries and ludothèque of Aubange, the Hubert Juin library of Athus is pleased to invite you to an exciting literary conference around the novel "Les Silences de Buenos Aires" by the Belgian author Frank Andriat.

"Les silences de Buenos Aires" is a poignant novel that plunges the reader into the troubled Argentina of the 1970s. Frank Andriat sensitively and profoundly addresses the themes of exile, memory, and identity. The story follows the journey of Mateo, a young Argentine exiled in Belgium, who returns to his homeland to understand the circumstances of his parents' disappearance during the military dictatorship. With writing that is both delicate and impactful, the author manages to give voice to the silences that still haunt Buenos Aires, creating a work that resonates long after it is read.
