August 1943. After their aircraft was severely damaged, the American crew had to abandon their bomber and parachute behind enemy lines. Out of the 10 crew members, two manage, after an adventurous journey through Nazi Germany, to reach Mersch. Here, they receive help from the Mersch resistance. A few months later, the BBC broadcasts the message "D'Ierzenzopp is good," which indicates that the two aviators have safely reached friendly lines again.
