AN INTRODUCTION TO BOYlesque, BURLESQUE FOR MEN – a workshop with Leo Rise
A number of men have manifested their interest and wish to try burlesque after seeing our shows and some of our boylesque artists perform, but they have also expressed their doubts and how daunting the art seems to be for them. This workshop is meant to introduce them to burlesque by reassuring them and showing them that this form of expression is accessible to anyone and can help people, whatever their gender, gain confidence and have fun.
PLAYING WITH EXPRESSION, BODY LANGUAGE AND STEREOTYPES – a workshop with Anna Venture for ALL genders
Why focus on being sexy only? Why limit yourself on stage while you could empower your performances with your own presence and expression. Come and test the key elements in a burlesque act, come and play with boundaries, and get ready to challenge the audience's expectations! Thanks to Anna's experience, you will also discover the fun of playing with "masculine" body language and expression! In this workshop, you'll explore physical expression beyond gender boundaries and take an exciting look at the power of stereotypes.
This workshop is open to everyone, regardless of gender identity or burlesque experience. Come with curiosity, a willingness to experiment, and a love for self-expression—and let's discover new sides of ourselves together!
