Actually, Claudio just wanted to meet with friends to work on the central idea of their newly founded party: Democracy must find its way back to its origins and the next Prime Minister must be elected via Lous. Due to an involuntary detour, he lands in Vis-à-Vis, where a university professor tells of Victor Hugo's eager sexual activity during his stay in Veiana and is of the opinion that an heir should be found in the genetic pool of Luxembourg. While the first Lottery Prime Minister is unfortunately a top populist, Claudio, together with the professor, sets out on a search for the one who may be unconsciously the great literary genius that the Luxemburgensia lacks - a search that is connected with Claudio's migratory family history crosses.
Ondugen is a partly surreal, partly melancholic satire, which not only solidly sabotages the image of the national poet, but also questions the place of democracy in a world that tramples humanistic values.
