Founded in 1907 amid the celebrations marking Rumelange's city status, the Symphonic Circle of Rumelange was born out of a passion from music lovers aiming to promote symphonic music. Despite interruptions due to economic crises and world conflicts, the ensemble has reinvented itself over the decades, becoming a major cultural player. After flourishing under the leadership of talented conductors like Gusty Schreiner and Georges Wagner, the orchestra is now returning to its roots with Sidney Scho. Bringing together 35 amateur, student, and semi-professional musicians, the Circle continues to delight its audience while celebrating a rich and lively musical tradition.
