Rendezvous Point – your metal shows at Rockhal, proud sponsor of Today Radio’s Louder show. Formed in 2010 in the heart of Kristiansand, Norway, Rendezvous Point was born out of a shared passion for progressive metal by five students from the University of Agder. The band quickly became known for their ability to blend punchy rhythms with soaring melodies and atmospheric undertones. Their debut album "Solar Storm" (2015) set the tone, and they followed up with "Universal Chaos" (2019), delving even deeper into themes of existential reflection. A few months ago, Rendezvous Point released their third album, "Dream Chaser" on Long Branch Records, an album that pushes their artistic boundaries even further. Joining them on this tour is TEMIC, a new ambitious act in the progressive rock/metal scene. TEMIC was founded by keyboardist Diego Tejeida (ex-Haken, Devin Townsend) and guitarist Eric Gillette (The Neal Morse Band), whose musical chemistry dates back to their time with Mike Portnoy’s Shattered Fortress. After years of individual projects, the pandemic gave them the opportunity to finally collaborate. They quickly joined forces with their friend and drummer Simen Sandnes (SHINING). Sandnes recommended vocal powerhouse Fredrik Bergersen Klemp (Maraton) on vocals and thus TEMIC was born.
