After 10 years of study, David Sun meets all the criteria to fill a resume rather than a theater. However, following a breakup, crying day and night, he truly questions his future for the first time. His reasoning in the midst of depression leads to the conclusion: why bother? Thinking it’s a good idea to let everything go, he spends more than a year searching for meaning in his life: from self-improvement with CrossFit to voracious consumption of self-help books, it’s ultimately on-stage that David finds something he has always missed.
Due to his mother's strict education, David's main goal was academic success. But he realizes that it is through the laughter of his audience that he regains not only his spark of joy but also a connection with others. This allows him to tackle issues that worried him, but with a refreshing lightness.
Therefore, it is on stage, through questioning and exploration, that the artist and human reveal themselves to us.
