Each user can borrow up to 15 books and 4 sound recordings or DVDs.
The loan period is 42 days and can be extended again for the same period. However, an extension is no longer possible if another reader has made a reservation for one of your documents.
Borrowed documents can be returned not only to the Bicherbus, but also at any time via the automatic return device outside the National Library building in Kirchberg. Documents that cannot be returned via the automatic return device can be deposited in a specific return box located in the airlock of the main entrance to the Library. This box is accessible from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
