Let's take time to discover this fascinating period in the history of the city of Luxembourg. Using models, charters, and other archaeological objects from the permanent exhibition, we will travel back in time to the 10th century and see how, from the primitive castle called Lucilinburhuc, the medieval city gradually developed. Then, we'll leave the Museum and visit the archaeological crypt on the Rue de la Reine, which houses the remains of the medieval walls built in the 12th century.
