The extensive network of Luxembourg memorials needs to be efficiently visualized to make access easier. Digital platforms have become indispensable in the 21st century to enhance awareness of remembrance work related to World War II events. The term "places of memory" encompasses a wide range: stumbling stones, war memorials, commemorative plaques, military cemeteries, memory paths, individual war graves, streets and squares, as well as church windows and museums.

In this conference, we present our efforts to revitalize the memory culture and make it more accessible to the general public. This is realized with the help of a user-friendly map covering World War II monuments, memorials, or places of memory in Luxembourg, along with various chronological and thematic aspects (the air war, forced recruitment, the liberation of September 1944, the Ardennes offensive 1944-1945, etc.).
