RIDO OP presents the tragicomedy FRëndinnen, a birthday party on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Sarah, Lucy, and Jackie are friends - almost always. And for almost as long, Sarah's birthday is celebrated with a pajama party, where almost everything that's going on is relentlessly brought to the table: successes, news, family stories, affairs, secrets. This time too, it's almost the same as always. Only the party has to take place a month earlier... "Girlfriends" (or "Sarah's birthday") is a tragic-comic girls' evening full of little chasms, lies, secrets - but also full of closeness, deep connections, and real friendship. And as is often the case in life, laughter and tears go hand in hand.
