After more than 45 years of career, gold records and a Grammy Award, Youssou Ndour "The King of Mbalax" will arrive at Rockhal on April 16 to present his new album "Éclairer le monde". "Éclairer le monde" is a highly musical album, where each instrument has been crafted before recording. Kora, flute, sokou, ngoni, percussion, balafon, each sound has been meticulously studied and used in the most modern way by American producer Michael League. The album advocates love, friendship, and universalism. All the choirs were recorded in Dakar, under the direction of Youssou and the Nigerian Spotless. The album also introduces a newcomer, Rema Diop, with a melodious and promising voice.
