The Giant Bible of Saint-Maximin is an exceptional document recently returned to Luxembourg. This medieval manuscript is the last example of giant Bibles written in the 11th century and is unique in its close connection with the scriptorium of Echternach, one of the greatest intellectual and artistic centers of its time. In addition to its exceptional rarity, it is distinguished by its remarkable state of preservation. This unique document bears significant testimony to Luxembourg's cultural heritage.
