If one of your New Year's resolutions is to get out more, meet more people and make meaningful connections, then our Fast Friending event is for you! This event is for anyone looking to expand their social circle, whether you're new to town or just ready to meet new people! 'Fast friending' is our quick and fun way to help you make new connections with ladies and gentlemen. These are people aged 25-45, so you'll be on the same page. Of course, you can always choose who you want to talk to based on your preferences! Here's how our Fast Friending works: - We'll meet at 7:00pm so we can settle in and have a drink. All members can enjoy a buy one get one free offer on their first drink (soft drink, 30cl beer or house wine). - From 7:30pm to 8:30pm we'll be running the Fast Friending system. Half of the group (mixed) will stay in a fixed place while the other half (mixed) will be asked to rotate. During these intervals, each pair of people will be able to talk to each other. - Alexis will host the evening and organize the Fast Friending process. He will indicate when you should move on to the next person. - From 8:30pm, we will shut down the system and participants will be able to chat with those they have met as well as others. If you are a little shy or anxious, please arrive early. Alexis will help you meet other members in a small group, settle in and feel comfortable. All participants are also welcome to bring a friend for free. This will make the experience much less stressful for you, as you will always have a friend by your side. Our venue for the evening - The Updown Bar is spacious, has comfortable seating and is not very noisy. We have a dedicated area where our members can meet in a supportive environment. Our evenings are warm and comfortable for those who are participating for the first time or alone. You won't feel alone! This group is for women and men between the ages of 25 and 45. Some people will be younger while others will be older, and many will be in between! You will naturally feel comfortable with others in your age range and you will always find plenty of participants who fit your profile. We are not a dating group. Our events are not organized to manage your love life. Our group is created to help ladies and gentlemen meet other like-minded people. Please do not attend our event if perfect gender balance is important to your enjoyment of our meeting.
