ABOUT THE ARTIST
Alyona Alyona is a Ukrainian rap diva and one of the most popular artists in Ukraine. Previously a kindergarten teacher, she launched her music career in 2018 with the release of a video for her ironic track "Fish". In 2019, Alyona released her debut album "Pushka", which drew Europe's attention to Ukrainian rap. She performed at numerous European festivals and showcases, sometimes being the first Ukrainian woman in the history of some festivals.
The New York Times ranked her among the 15 most exciting new European artists, while The Guardian and Vogue World added her to their music rankings. She also appeared on the European Forbes 30 under 30 list. In 2022, she presented the mini-album "Dai Boh", which includes four tracks recorded with European artists. The music videos for each track have been viewed more than a million times on YouTube.
In 2024, Alyona Alyona and singer Jerry Heil were chosen to represent Ukraine at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024. Their powerful performance, directed by Tanu Muino, impressed fans of the contest, and with great support, they secured third place in the competition. The song "Teresa & Maria" featured prominently in the charts of over 15 European countries and stayed forever in the hearts of millions of listeners.
Currently, the rapper is one of the three most popular artists in Ukraine according to the number of streams on Spotify and one of the best-known Ukrainian artists worldwide. Her solo concerts in Europe, the United States, and Canada are a success, and she has her own audience who always look forward to Alyona Alyona performing in their country.
