After a sold-out performance last November, singer and composer Greta Panettieri and pianist Andrea Sammartino return to Altrimenti on Saturday, February 8, 2025. The concert "Fly me to Sinatra." is a tribute to the great singer Frank Sinatra. Greta Panettieri, a singer, composer, author, and jazz singing teacher (at the Conservatories of Parma, Salerno, and Catanzaro), has performed at the largest festivals, clubs, and theaters in Italy. She has also toured extensively in the United States, Russia, China, France, Spain, and the Netherlands. Winner of multiple editions of the Jazzit Awards, she is regarded as one of Italy's best jazz singers. Her music, rich and varied, explores influences ranging from soul to free jazz, pop to electronics, Brazilian popular music to Italian songwriter music. With "Fly me to Sinatra," the concert cycle born from the collaboration between Diego Lo Piccolo – creative director of the Altrimenti Cultural Center – and Antonio Ribatti – artistic director of the AHUM Milano Jazz Festival – truly takes off.
