Experiential pedagogy has become essential in working with children and young people over the last two decades. Especially in English- and German-speaking countries, active/adventure pedagogy has increasingly developed and become embedded in the pedagogical routine of various institutions.
In this continuing education course, the focus is on personal practical experience and reflection on cooperation tasks, providing a good introduction to experiential pedagogy. Cooperation tasks can notably contribute to the development of personal and social skills of the target audience.
At the same time, course participants receive a brief theoretical introduction to the different concepts and approaches of experiential pedagogy.
After each cooperation task, a reflection is conducted on what happened and on one's own behavior within the group, promoting the transfer into pedagogical practice for participants.
