FOLD • Keep Grunge Music Alive is FOLD's motto. Influenced by their youth in the early 90s, FOLD's musicians are on a mission to bring the sound and spirit of Grunge Rock to the 2020s with their music.
The band plays exclusively original compositions, heavily inspired by the style and sound of the Grunge wave of that era. Slow and heavy riffs combined with distinctive guitar lines, powerful drums and memorable vocal melodies form the basis of FOLD's music, while also drawing on influences from metal, punk and stoner rock.
Fans of bands like Alice In Chains, Soundgarden or Foo Fighters will feel right at home with FOLD.
NAKED ON PALMTREES • Formed in 2021, the Frankfurt/Main, Germany-based group project now has four members. The band’s sound is defined by the musical influence of each member, giving them the chance to break down the walls of habit and constantly improve the listener’s experience with new musical impulses.
Starting with distinctive guitar and bass riffs and carried by alternating drum grooves, the band transforms familiar '90s alternative rock tracks into whatever is supposed to happen next, adding vibes of funk, progressive, reggae, rap and blues.
There are many ways to describe a genre, but let's group it under the term "crossover rock."
Each member of the band puts a variety of emotions, influences and memories into the project.
What comes out of it is something beautiful, crazy and individual to listen to.
