In her film, director Rand Beiruty follows a group of teenage girls from Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Kurdistan, and Romania, who all fled their countries to settle in the German province. Over four years, the girls share their stories, struggles, dreams, and hopes for the future. Together, they create a space where anything is possible. "Tell them about us" provides an intimate glimpse into the lives of teenage girls growing up in a foreign country. Beiruty's film offers a raw, moving, and joyful look at a pivotal moment in life, giving this group of girls the chance to live their dreams in front of the camera.
