Jagoda, eleven, and Zuzia, thirteen, are inseparable and ready to start their early teen years. Their charismatic and cheerful personalities banish boredom. Through their conversations about pimples, boys, periods, bras, TikTok, or women's rights – as well as their pajama parties with impromptu dances – the two girls go through the ups and downs of pre-teen life in Poland. Aga Borzym’s debut film, Girls' Stories, provides an authentic and hilarious view of growing up, offering a joyful and benevolent look at adolescence, its energy, and wisdom. We will remember the memorable "Love is cool until you are in a relationship" quipped by Jagoda in the film.
