Antwerp theatre company FC Bergman, known and recognised for its innovative, scathing and spectacular world through shows such as Van den Vos (15·16), Les Pêcheurs de perles (18·19), The Sheep Song (21·22), 300 el x 50 el x 30 el (22·23), returns to the Théâtres de la Ville with a new creation, Works and Days, inspired by the poem Works and Days by the Greek poet Hesiod, one of the oldest literary compendiums on agriculture. FC Bergman looks at one of its favourite themes: metamorphosis. How can man reconnect with the cycles of nature? Works and Days, created to live music by Joachim Badenhorst, inspired by Antonio Vivaldi's Four Seasons, addresses the link between man and nature, but also climate change and ecological catastrophe. A utopian and critical production in which hope has its explicit place.
