Everyone composes songs. All the time. In the shower, while walking, in the car... Some, like Julien Joubert, have chosen to make a career out of it.
This play won't provide you the recipe for writing a hit, but it will allow everyone, musician or not, to explore the mysteries of composition in a fun and theatrical way.
By the end of the evening, harmony, melody, prosody, and modulation will no longer be a mystery to you. In about 1 hour and 20 minutes, you'll have composed a song, explored the history of music, learned a bit about a living composer's life, but above all, you will have laughed.
