Since 2019, the Duo Tonnar Urwald has been interpreting Luxembourg classics in a radically new way. These songs, often still vaguely familiar, are delivered in a refreshing manner. The text and stories are again at the forefront, with Serge Tonnar's almost storytelling interpretation and Georges Urwald's piano sounds that fit like a glove. After songs from the 19th century with the program 'Aus der Heemecht', they now present their new album 'Kapoutty', featuring songs by Poutty Stein, the father of Luxembourg chanson, like never heard before. Alongside classics like 'Déi Schnëss' or 'De schéine Poli', one can also hear lesser-known but no less thrilling pieces.
