Cao Cao, the Han Emperor's prime minister, pushes the latter to attack the Kingdom of Shu. Cao Cao wishes to seize the throne once the empire is unified. Liu Bei, leader of Shu, proposes to the young lord of the Kingdom of Wu, Sun Quan, an alliance to defend against this threat. Furious, Cao Cao launches his attack in the winter of 208 on the Yangtze River with 800,000 soldiers and 2,000 ships. The two armies clash during the Battle of the Red Cliff...
