Exhibition: 75 Years of Defending the Council of Europe's Fundamental Values through Posters
As part of Luxembourg's presidency of the Council of Europe from November 2024 to May 2025, discover 75 years of defending the Council of Europe's fundamental values through posters. This exhibition, held at the Museum, Place de la Résistance, Esch/Alzette, retraces the history and achievements of the Council of Europe, founded on May 5, 1949, in London by ten member states, including Luxembourg. Through over 75 posters, discover the tangible actions of this organization for the promotion of human rights, democracy, and the rule of law, fundamental values defended daily for 75 years. This exhibition also pays tribute to the 70th anniversary of the European Cultural Convention signed in 1954. Free entry.
