2025 marks the 50th anniversary of Dmitri Shostakovich's death.
As part of these celebrations, four of the most gifted musicians of their generations come together for an entire evening of chamber music dedicated to the Russian composer. Violinist Gidon Kremer, violist Maxim Rysanov and cellist Gautier Capuçon each perform the sonata dedicated to their instrument, benefiting from a high-flying partner in the person of pianist Evgeny Kissin.
